Meet Robert Blunt

Independent advice you can rely on.

I’m Robert, the founder of Millfield Residential Surveying, an independent practice based in Bromsgrove.

I work with homebuyers across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. I particularly enjoy older, extended and less straightforward buildings, alongside the conventional homes for which a Level 2 survey may be appropriate.

A more personal approach to property surveying.

I carry out every inspection personally. From your first enquiry to the discussion after your report, you’ll know who is looking after your survey and who to contact with a question.

My aim is to give you a clear understanding of the property, the issues that need attention and the next steps worth considering. Your report is specific to the building inspected, with practical explanations rather than unnecessary jargon.

Professional credentials. Personal reassurance.

When you’re trusting someone to inspect a property you may be about to buy, it’s important to know who you’re dealing with.

I’m a Residential Building Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, with professional memberships and qualifications across residential surveying and building engineering.

Qualifications matter, but so does being able to speak directly to the person inspecting your property. With Millfield, you get both.

Support beyond the report

A report can raise questions as well as answer them. You’re encouraged to talk through the findings with me so you understand their significance and the recommendations before deciding what to do next.
